The seventh episode of HBO's The Last of Us, "Left Behind," is an adaptation of the game's highly acclaimed DLC of the same name. It follows Ellie and her best friend Riley as they explore an abandoned mall outside of the Boston quarantine zone. The episode explores the relationship between Ellie and Riley, as well as Ellie's time attending the Boston QZ boarding school. It also features nods to the source material, such as Ellie's Walkman, Savage Starlight comics, and Mortal Kombat II.
