    At the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this weekend, Kari Lake won the straw poll for the Republican vice presidential pick, beating out former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Lake, who was also a featured speaker at CPAC, is challenging her loss in the governor’s race last November in court.

We have to make sure that we don't just focus on one issue, but that we look at the entire picture of what's happening in our cities." Adams believes that mayors are closest to the problem and that public safety is a prerequisite to prosperity in American cities. He also addressed criticism from some Democrats, saying that polls showed New Yorkers felt unsafe and that he speaks to everyday working-class people who are concerned about safety.
